Install

Dia Browser is a native macOS application distributed as a direct download. There is no package manager install (no Homebrew formula, no npm package, no apt/brew cask as of 2026-06-30).

System requirements

Chip	Apple Silicon M1 or newer
Architecture	ARM64 only (no Intel/Rosetta support)

Download and install

1. Go to https://www.diabrowser.com/
2. Click Download Dia
3. Open the downloaded .dmg file
4. Drag Dia.app into your /Applications folder
5. Launch Dia from Applications or Spotlight (Cmd+Space, type Dia)
6. Sign in or create a Dia account when prompted

First-run setup

After launch, Dia will walk you through:

• Creating or signing into your Dia account
• Connecting integrations (Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, GitHub, Calendar)
• Choosing whether to share content data to improve Dia (can be changed later in Settings > Privacy)
• Setting up Profiles (work vs personal)

Dia for Work (team install)

Dia for Work adds SSO and admin controls. Contact the Dia team via https://www.diabrowser.com/ to provision a team account. There is no self-serve admin portal publicly documented.

No Homebrew, no CLI

As of 2026-06-30 there is no brew install --cask dia formula and no dia CLI binary. Install is download-only from the official site.
